Rally SA Beanie and Cap Photo Contest
Over the last six years, we have offered a prize of a very nice rally jacket for the winner of our beanie competition.
It was won in 2004 by Communications manager Terre Court, with a very clever entry, and in 2005 by Stage Commander Hedley Bachmann with his visit to the Birdsville Pub, and in 2006 by Advance Car Crew Scott Hochwald at Summit of Mt Kilimanjaro. 2007 saw Mawsons Row Official Ben Wait take out the award with a photo at Artic Circle. 2008 was won by Stage Commander Mike Coley working on his inner bogan.
2009 was not awarded, as the 25 photo minimum was not met.
It will be on again in 2010, with a Rally Team Jacket to be won.
All you need do is send in a photograph of a Rally cap or beanie from any of the years held so far, being worn in an unusual way or in an unusual place.
It has to be a "real" photo, and it has to feature the actual official concerned - no computer generated shots or 'doctored' photos will be eligible. Please note that, again, the competition will only be contituted if there are more than 25 entries.
The winner of the Rally SA Photo Competition will be awarded the prize at the start of this year's event.
This is a really good way to get involved and be in line for a unique and valuable prize.
Remember, in 2010, we will be looking for a minimum of 25 entries before an award will be constituted, so get to it!
