| The Chief Executive of the South Australian Motor Sport Board, Mr Andrew Daniels, today announced two leading South Australian organisations McMahon Services Pty Ltd and Resourceco are to be sponsors of this year's Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA, the involvement of the companies was further evidence of the stature of the event. |

| Both David McMahon, (Managing Director of McMahon Services) & Simon Brown (Managing Director of Resourceco) have a strong interest in car racing. Apart from that they will take the opportunity to entertain clients on the course who share that enthusiasm. |

| McMahon Services Pty Ltd is a specialist organisation involved in the asbestos removal, site remediation, demolition, civil engineering and toxic substances handling and disposal, while Resourceco operates a Resource Recovery Depot at Wingfield in South Australia that currently process more than 850,000 tonnes of waste annually. |

| The two organisations will sponsor the final Special Stage of the Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA to be held from Friday July 30 through to Sunday August 1, 2004. Mr. Daniels said that in a major innovation for an Australian Rally Championship round, a Mistral Vision Super Screen with five-camera coverage and live timing and results add to the excitement for spectators at the 2004 Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA. 'Rally enthusiasts at the Forties spectator area in the Mount Crawford Forest will benefit from this coverage of the event and will certainly make the McMahon Services/Resourceco Special Stage a highlight. Last year's Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA attracted a record crowd of 26,300 and was also viewed by a huge television audience on Network Ten. This year the action commences at the ceremonial start in the main street of Tanunda on the Friday evening (July 30) with two days of non-stop action in the Barossa Valley and the spectator areas in the Mount Crawford Forest on Saturday (July 31) and Sunday (August 1). The Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA is round 4 of the Globalstar Australian Rally Championship and will feature 208 kilometres of competition with 23 stages over the Saturday and Sunday of the event. Victory in last year's Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA went to South Australian works Mitsubishi driver Ed Ordynski. |
