| The Course for the 2004 Coopers Pale Ale Rally is now complete and marked ready for the Stage Management Teams. |
|
| The Chief Safety Officer, Scott Thompson, has over the last 2 weeks been out in his "Mobile Office" putting in the final posts and surveying the stages for this years Stage Set-up Notes. |

| These Stage Set-up Notes are used by the Stage Management Teams to secure the stage and make it safe for competing rally teams to enjoy the best stages that South Australia has to offer. |
|
| Drafts of the Stage Set-up Notes will be distributed to the Stage Management Teams over the next 2 weeks to allow time for them to become familiar with their stages, some of which have changed from previous events. | |
| Changes have been made to Mawsons Row and Mt Gawler (formally Hannaford Hump) stages and a new stage called Maidment has been added. In addition, the final Super Special Stage has been altered considerably to include all the roads within the Forties Spectator Area including the "road over the top" which was last used in 2001. "The road over the top" proved to be a draw card for spectators in the 2001 event with conditions which prevented some cars making it over un-assisted. Considerable roadwork has been carried out since then and we won't see a repeat of the 2001 spectacular. |
