Rally SA honours Long Serving Senior Officials

At a recent ceremony, long serving senior officials including the previous Clerk of Course and Stage Commanders were presented with Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA jackets in recognition of their prior commitment to the event.

Jeremy Browne, the Clerk of Course and Rally Director for the 2001, 2002 and 2003 events was presented with a unique one-off, blue Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA jacket in recognition of returning the ARC to South Australia and his work in bringing the event to its current high standard.

Long Serving Senior Officials at the Jacket Presentation

A new initiative to the event is to present the Stage Commanders who have completed three years as a Stage Commander, a special three year Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA Stage Commanders jacket.

This year six Stage Commanders (pictured with Jeremy Browne from the left) were presented with a green Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA Stage Commanders jacket. They were:

  • Phil Gatley: 2001 - High Eden, 2002 2003 - Mawsons Row

  • David Milne: 2001 2002 2003 - Latvian Spy

  • Frank Catling: 2001 2002 2003 - Service Park

  • Malcolm Dodd: 2001 2002 - Old Kersbrook, 2003 - Retreat Valley

  • John Eagle: 2001 - Hannaford Hump, 2002 - Wayville, 2003 - Peter Lehmann Wines

  • Trevor Fisher: 2001 2002 2003 - Forties
