Pegs in for 2004 Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA

21 February 2004

The first pegs for the 2004 Coopers Rally SA have been put in the ground. Members of the Competition Organising Group have spent the week mapping and marking what should prove to be a challenging and varied course for this year's event.

There have been some changes to this year's event with a new stage in the Mt Torrens area, extensions to the stages in the Lenswood and Mt Gawler areas and a marked change to the spectacular Peter Lehmann Wines Super Special Stage in the Mt Crawford Forest.

Assistant Clerk of Course Rob Coppins knocks in the first peg

Spectators in the Forties Spectator area will be able to view the start, the stage, the finish and the podium of this final stage on Sunday August 1 all from within the Spectator Area.

The Assistant Clerk of Course Rob Coppins is seen above knocking in the first peg for the 2004 Coopers Pale Ale Rally SA.
