Rallyschool.com.au to support the SPRINT AUTO PARTS RALLY SA
Rallyschool.com.au have allocated SPRINT AUTO PARTS RALLY SA two professionally prepared full house rally cars to use as the ZERO car, and as the FAST SWEEP
This move gives the rally additional safety levels, and injects a lot of credibility. Certainly, well prepared, purpose built cars add to the colour and pageantry that the event already has.
Given they are being crewed by Declan and Amanda Dwyer (ZERO), and Gary Kirk and Robert Duck (FAST SWEEP), who between them have amassed a range of State and National championships, the event organisers are confident of a great performance.
Rallyschool.com.au provides Rally OLT's, Rally driving experiences in 5 states, and has over a dozen rally cars, and 45 staff around the country.

No Bull Shootout
At a recent Meeting of the ARC, a number of promotional initiatives were discussed to provide additional media interest in the championship. Traditionally, the media day has provided crews with some exposure to the media on the Friday morning before the rally. A concept was hatched to give the media a clear message and story about the rally that was about to unfold.
A V8 -F1 style "Shootout" will be tried for the first time on the Friday of the Sprint auto Parts Rally SA. Both organisers and CAMS believe the Pedders No Bull Shootout will extend the viewing opportunities for spectators, service crews, media and anyone attending. Rather than just some unofficial times being used to promote the rally, media journalists and photographers will have an opportunity to craft real content for the evening news and national media outlets.

"State Of Origin" Comes to Sprint Auto Parts Rally SA
Some believe that the best drivers come from the ACT. Greg Carr and Neal Bates might agree. What about Western Australia with the Herridge's and our own living rally legend, Ross Dunkerton? Then of course the Victorians might contend that Simon Evans and Cody Croker can give the title a shake.
Then of course Queensland can claim Chris Atkinson! State Rally Panels in conjunction with ARCom have resolved to introduce an annual "State of Origin" Challenge with the intention being that each year the challenge would be piggybacked onto an ARC round the Challenge being a grand final of the top crews who have been contesting State Rally Championships.
The 2009 Sprint Auto Parts Rally of South Australia will host the first Challenge this year. Next year it will move to an ARC round held in another State and move to a different ARC round in successive years. Crews would need to support the concept in order for it build as genuine "Challenge".

SCOUTS AND SPRINT AUTO PARTS RALLY SA GREEN TO GROW
Image: By Phil Williams Media & Marketing
for media use
Sprint Auto Parts Rally SA have joined with Scouts SA to take action to reduce the carbon footprint of the Rally over the 3 days Jul31 – Aug2.
In what is believed to be a first for Rallying in Australia, Sprint Auto Parts Rally SA is working with Scouts SA to plant thousands of trees as part of the Scouts and Greenfleet's' Murray Darling Rescue, which has so far planted 1,000,000 trees in the Murray Darling Basin.
These trees, through a carbon agreement, will significantly reduce the carbon footprint of this fantastic motorsport event for several years. This planting is further to the action already taken by Sprint Auto Parts Rally SA with Scouts and Greenfleet.
"Sprint Auto Parts Rally SA takes its responsibility to the protection of the environment and the sustainability of its business very seriously. To help us in the fight against climate change we have partnered with Greenfleet. Greenfleet is the first not-for profit forestry organisation in Australia to become an Approved Abatement Provider under the Australia Governments Greenhouse Friendly ™ initiative," said Event Director and Clerk of Course Ivar Stanelis.
