Odometer Check
Scouts Rally SA uses two odometer check locations.
The first location is in Adelaide (6.45 km) and the second between Forestry Headquarters and the Mount Pleasant Service Park (6.50 km).
Adelaide Odometer Check
The check is located on Greenhill Road. Proceed from Adelaide on Anzac Highway turning left into Greenhill Road at the edge of the Parklands.
The 6.45 km odometer check begins by travelling East from the start stobie pole marked with black letters "CS” on a yellow background. This pole is situated approximately 110 metres west of Goodwood Road.
The end stobie pole is situated west of the Howard Tce/ Greenhill Road junction. It is marked “HD12500” and has black letters “CF” on a yellow background.
The distance is taken with the front wheels of the vehicle level with the nominated points.
Mt Crawford Odometer Check
The check is located on Cricks Mill Road. This is the road between Forestry HQ and the Mount Pleasant Service Park.
The 6.50 km odometer check begins by travelling south east from the start red/green post. This post is located approximately 100 metres from the Warren Road intersection in the layover adjacent Mount Road.
The end red/green post is located approximately 750 metres from the Elliots Boundary Road intersection.
The distance is taken with the front wheels of the vehicle level with the nominated points.
